Rocío is an entrepreneur and AI advisor renowned for her human-centred approach. With +9 years of experience in technology leadership, she has been dedicated to responsible AI since 2018. Today As CEO and founder of Atlan AI, Rocío helps businesses achieve their full potential with AI by providing clarity, strategic insights and practical answers.
Driven by a passion for business impact, Rocío has charted a dynamic career that spans from management consulting for major banking groups in Europe and South America, to tech and data leadership roles in retail scale-ups, and strategic AI implementation in startups in Sweden.
Such a diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of how to turn complex technical concepts into powerful, practical tools. This ensures that every AI strategy, roadmap and initiative Rocío leads connects to the business’ vision while delivering results early on, making AI accessible and transformative for businesses of all sizes.
In response to the underrepresentation of women in AI, she helped build Women in AI Sweden in 2020, where she continues to serve on the leadership team, contributing to broaden the spectrum of voices and perspectives in the AI field.
