Katarina Matson

Katarina Matson is a senior leader in inclusion, diversity and equality with more than 20 years of experience in communication and HR at Volvo Cars. During the five years that she was globally responsible for Culture, Diversity & Inclusion, she ran the strategic DEI work and carried out, among other things, initiatives to increase the company’s gender equality, initiated LGBTQI+ networks and workshops, developed and implemented Unconscious Bias training for more than 1,500 leaders globally, and implemented a global parental leave policy for all employees.

Since 2021, Katarina Matson is the founder of Let’s Tango AB, and lectures and trains leaders and employees who want to increase awareness and gain in-depth knowledge of how they can create an inclusive work environment that sees everyone’s full potential by identifying norms, stereotypes and unconscious prejudices and where the inclusive leadership becomes a success factor that generates business profit. In her lectures and trainings, she offers a mix of theory, research and facts with current trends and good examples, personal experiences and concrete and practical tips that are easy to use.

Katarina Matson was awarded "Top 30 Diversity and Inclusion leaders to follow in 2022”, awarded by LeadersHum.

Katarina Matson is described as an authentic, fun and inspiring speaker and works with clients in the private and public sector, both in and outside of Sweden.
