Tobias Sturesson grew up in a destructive cult that almost cost his mother her life. Today, he helps larger organizations overcome their most important culture and values \u200b\u200bchallenges. "How could an organization that seemed to have a good purpose become something so destructive?" "How could I, who saw myself as an ethical and value-driven leader, become complicit in psychological abuse?" These questions have led Tobias to dedicate his professional life to advocating for healthier organizational cultures. His keynotes challenge platitudes and myths about culture and values and demonstrate how a good and healthy culture affects all parts of the organization’s ability to carry out its mission and how leaders and employees contribute to it. He highlights how we can all, under pressure, end up in ethical tunnel vision and make the wrong decisions and provides practical tools to make the values alive even when it’s costly. Tobias shows how a healthy culture is not primarily built through projects or events but through integrating new habits\u2014making small changes in what we do regularly instead of placing all hope in short-term efforts. Tobias is co-founder of Heart Management and hosts the Leading Transformational Change podcast, where he talks to the world’s leading researchers and experts about culture, ethics, and leadership. His book The Culture Challenge – about critical habits for a healthy culture will be published by an American publisher in late 2023. He has extensive experience coaching companies, public and non-profit organizations in overcoming their cultural challenges and seeing lasting change. The keynotes are characterized by his genuine passion for the subject and deep knowledge of the research in the field. He is well-read, adapts the message to the recipient’s reality and level of expertise, and always tries to activate the audience in their own reflection.
