Amer Mohammed is a futuristic digital director, speaker, and entrepreneur with experience in combining business development, technology, change enablement, and design to implement effective, long-lasting enterprise business transformation strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n

He founded his first start-up in 2003, the world\u2019s first web-based distribution system for free newspapers. With his background as a programmer and system architect, he had valuable insights that made him grow the company to 40 employees and have 11 of the biggest free newspapers in the world as customers before selling it in 2007.<\/p>\n

He has also co-founded an award-winning start-up, Healthy Heroes, an app allowing users to level up a game character by running in real life. The app received several awards, including the GuldMobilen 2013 and the Royal Innovation Prize for the most innovative health app.<\/p>\n

In 2015, Amer joined Stena, contributing to the company\u2019s transformation from a traditional shipping company to a tech house with its own Head of AI and data science team. After Stena, Amer worked at CapGemini Scandinavia as their Chief Digital Officer. He was responsible for delivering actual AI implementations for the company\u2019s largest clients in Scandinavia.<\/p>\n

In 2019 he joined Coop Sweden as CDO and Digital Director. Overseeing digital and corporate strategies, including the development of initiatives aimed at driving increased customer engagement. He built a high-performing 90-member team responsible for data science, experience, design, technology, architecture, product development, digital business development, and innovation. Originated new digital strategy, researching emerging trends across multiple subjects, such as technology, leadership, behavior science, experience, design, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and patent applications. Envisioned, designed, and executed the implementation of customer-specific solutions.<\/p>\n

Amer Mohammed is a curious learner, always eager to know what\u2019s behind the next corner.
