Joakim is an expert in security policy and strategy, with a focus on the current global situation. The ongoing issue of how Sweden is affected by Russia\u2019s war of aggression against Ukraine is significant, as Russia\u2019s expansionist ambitions mark a clear “before” and “after” in history. Things will not return to how they were\u2014the \u201cafter\u201d will have major consequences not only for Sweden and our region but for the world as a whole.<\/p>\n

Joakim has a background in the Swedish Armed Forces and possesses broad international experience. He has worked at the strategic leadership level at the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters, taught at the Department of Strategy at the Swedish Defence University, and held positions in military intelligence and security services. He is a frequent commentator in the press and on television and was a featured “Sommarpratare” on Swedish radio in 2024.<\/p>\n
