Staffan Ehde
For over 20 years, Staffan Ehde has been an evangelist for the idea that purpose is the DNA that determines whether an organization succeeds or fails. He first realized this in the film industry, where direction is what makes the difference, something that translates directly into purpose within organizations.
How do we build value for everyone? Customers, employees, and owners alike?
Staffan’s tools are empathy, storytelling (since we all want to be part of a story), and lateral thinking. It’s not about post-it notes or “thinking outside the box.” Instead, it’s about truly understanding the customer—walking in their shoes, feeling their pain—and translating those insights into processes that create a “Lovemark.”
Drawing on more than twenty years of experience as a film producer (with a Bachelor of Arts degree earned in California, 1979–83), Staffan uses film production as a powerful metaphor. It shows how an idea can evolve from a simple sketch on a napkin into a complete customer experience—bringing together diverse talents, roles, and budgets.
In 2003, an industrial leader brought Staffan into the corporate world, where he has since worked with innovation and change across a wide range of organizations. Since 2017, he has been Creative Director at Senseair, a global technology company.
While it’s possible to inspire an audience for an hour, Staffan aims to be a “speaker version 3.0”—an inspirer and facilitator within the experience economy. His goal is to fully engage participants through interactive methods, creating lasting impact and practical value they can take forward.
To achieve this, a workshop is often more effective than a traditional speech.
Staffan has also authored two books in Swedish.
