In addition to his research, he is active in building cyber security talent, e.g. through his role as Head Coach for the Danish Cyber Security Team which on the European Cyber Security Challenge in 2022 – and much more.
Jens Myrup Pedersen is also an active board member in the energy sector (chairman of the board of NRGi), and through the Board Leadership Society involved in development of board education within cyber security.

Jens teaches, supervises, and specializes in security, with a main focus on detecting malicious network activities. He believes in having solid technical and theoretical background, and translating it into creative solutions, which he has broadly worked for.
Jens is an experienced speaker and strong communicator, who in 2022 won the Danish Teaching Award (Undervisningsprisen) by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science.
