Hanna Linderstål

Hanna Linderstål has 25 years of experience working in cybersecurity and is a recognized strategist with extensive expertise advising governments, agencies, and corporations globally. Her knowledge encompasses hybrid warfare, immersive AI, and cyber threat analysis, establishing her as a trusted authority in the rapidly evolving digital threat landscape. In 2024, she was honored as Sweden’s Security Profile of the Year.

Hanna’s work with the Earhart Business Protection Agency has garnered media attention from outlets such as Politico, Financial Times, The Economist, Al Jazeera, and Dagens Industri, and she frequently appears in news broadcasts.

Keynote Speaker Hanna Linderstål

Hanna regularly delivers international lectures on cyber threats, disinformation, hybrid warfare, and digital espionage, and serves as a guest lecturer at various universities. She is a sought-after keynote speaker both in Sweden and internationally and is also a trusted advisor to boards and executive teams in both the private and public sectors. Hanna frequently teaches at the Swedish Defence University and FRIvärld’s Academy, focusing on future digital threat environments and hybrid warfare.

Previously, she chaired the Cybersecurity Task Group on the Metaverse at the United Nations’ International Telecommunication Union (ITU). She now serves as an expert for the United Nations International Computing Centre’s (UNICC) Citiverse initiative, specializing in cyber threat intelligence and strategic resilience.

Her mission remains clear: to educate, protect, and shape a safer digital future.

Hanna Linderstål co-authored a report with a colleague that led to a consultative tool on biometric data for the EU Economic and Social Committee during the work on the AI Act. She has also led international training programs, notably launching Bangladesh’s first university course on disinformation and cyber analysis. She is the European advisor for X Reality Safety Intelligence (XRSI) and Vice Chair of the Swedish Psychological Operations Association. She co-authored the report “Disinfo Landscape Sweden” for EU DisinfoLab and contributed a chapter to the anthology SOU 2020:56 “The Democratic Dialogue in a Digital Age”. In this investigation, published by the Ministry of Culture, she is listed as an external expert and chapter author in Appendix 2, focusing on strengthening resilience against disinformation.

Recently, Hanna participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) during a three-week delegation focused on AI innovation, regulations, and security. Throughout the program, she engaged with government officials, decision-makers from the private sector, academia, startups, and investors to discuss the needs for regulatory frameworks and the implications of AI innovation on security.
