Evelina Anttila

Named one of Sweden’s most influential tech investors by Dagens Industri, Evelina is the CEO of the venture capital firm Wellstreet, which invests in early-stage tech companies.

She previously helped build and sell the leading AI company Peltarion, and is recognized as a prominent voice in Sweden within AI, entrepreneurship, and investments. Evelina also serves as an advisor to AI Sweden, is the co-founder of the legal tech company Justic, and holds several board positions.

Evelina has a law degree and a background as a lawyer at Mannheimer Swartling in both Stockholm and New York, where she specialized in ethical and legal questions related to AI. She has long worked at the intersection of law, ethics, and technology.

At a time when the AI race is accelerating with great uncertainty, Evelina highlights the need for regulation and clear frameworks to guide entrepreneurs and ensure responsible development.

Current – “Dragon’s Den”

Evelina Anttila’s career began with entrepreneurship through Justic, a legal tech startup, before she joined Wellstreet as Partner and eventually CEO. In autumn 2024, she will appear as one of the new “dragons” on Dragon’s Den (Sweden), representing a new kind of profile in the venture space – coming from a Stockholm suburb without a family business background or inherited networks, making her journey even more remarkable.
