Daniel Skavén Ruben
Daniel Skavén Ruben is a frequent keynote speaker, moderator, and panelist on the topics of food systems, FoodTech, and the Future of Food, and has lectured all over the world. Whether in-person or virtual, Daniel always brings great passion, high energy, and deep knowledge of the food system and how it is currently being reshaped by a wave of innovation.
Daniel is the Founding Editor of newsletter FoodTech Weekly, where he has followed the development of the future food system in hundreds of issues. He previously ran the podcast The Appetizer.
Daniel is also a mentor to the accelerators Big Idea Ventures (New York), Katapult Ocean (Oslo) and Norrsken Accelerator (Stockholm), as well as an advisor to several VC companies such as Mudcake VC (Stockholm), Nordic FoodTech VC (Helsinki), and Blume Equity (London).
Since 2016, Daniel has been an advisor to about 10 startups, and angel invested in 30+ startups, within FoodTech and ClimateTech.
In 2023, Daniel founded Solvable Syndicate, which brings together 100s of business angels and family offices who invest in global impact startups in FoodTech and AgTech.
