David Jacoby
David Jacoby is one of Sweden’s least camera-shy hackers and a leading IT security expert. With over 25 years of experience in professional hacking, he has received multiple awards both as a speaker and for his unique research and work in combating digital crime.
In addition to his own research, David Jacoby has served as a technical advisor to some of Sweden’s most successful IT security companies. He has also contributed as an advisor to books, including David Lagercrantz’s continuation of the Millennium series. He has been featured in books such as A Guide to Kernel Exploitation: Attacking the Core, Generation 500, Swedish Hackers, and most recently Cybersecurity ABCs. In 2021, the Swedish Theft Prevention Association awarded David its merit badge for his efforts in fighting digital crime.
Making IT security and hacking understandable for everyone is extremely challenging—but David Jacoby has truly gone above and beyond to achieve exactly that. He frequently appears in news media and newspapers, both in Sweden and internationally.
