More About Julien’s Background
Born in Montreal, Canada, Julien has lived in seven countries. His cultural competence is shaped by lived experiences rather than formal training. By observing and adapting to different cultures, he developed his method of explaining cultural codes.
He studied at five internationally recognized universities and became the first non-Scandinavian board member at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Today, together with Elise, Julien runs the publishing house Mondå Forlag, whose illustrations are featured in his books and presentations. He has lectured for over 500 companies in 10 countries, including global brands, banks, and Fortune 500 firms. His work has been highlighted in television, radio, and press, and he has received awards such as the TOP 10 Prize from HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway.
