Jannicke Mikkelsen 

Jannicke has collaborated with Sir David Attenborough, NASA, the legendary rock band Queen, and served as Mission Payload Specialist onboard the 2019 world-record flight One More Orbit, becoming the first woman to circumnavigate the planet over both the North and South Poles.

Her groundbreaking work has earned her the European Society of Cinematographers Award for Extraordinary Technical Achievement, and she has been named one of the most influential women in technology in both Norway and the UK.

A sought-after keynote and motivational speaker, Jannicke speaks on technology innovation, creativity and leadership at the intersection of engineering and storytelling. She has delivered keynotes for global organisations including Google, Disney, Pixar, Paramount Pictures, and at major industry events such as IBC and BSC Expo. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Wired, Variety and Teen Vogue.

Combining her background as a stereographer with cinematography, Jannicke designs and engineers her productions from the ground up, often developing custom hardware and software to realise technically ambitious cinematic experiences that captivate audiences worldwide.

Jannicke is a member of the Norwegian Society of Cinematographers (FNF), the European Society of Cinematographers (IMAGO), serves on IMAGO’s Technical Committee, and is a member of SMPTE UK.
