Julia Krantz is the creator behind the site Magic Fabric that’s since 2014 has been exploring the next frontier of fashion and digital entertainment through new technologies including 3D, XR, and AI. She has throughout the years featured rising talent, innovative projects, and cutting-edge software that’s later come to shape the future of the industry.
Previously she worked as the Creative Director of fit tech company Volumental, developing 3D scanning and AI solutions for retail. During her tenure she’s worked with some of the world’s leading footwear brands, using 3D data to build entirely new and personalized shopping experiences.She is a frequent speaker on the topic of AI for the creative industries with a big passion for how new technologies find their way into society. Navigating the intersection between technology, art, and creativity, she explores how these seemingly disparate worlds can merge to create truly transformative experiences – close to magic.
